Financial Analyst
We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our onsite finance team in Danielson, Connecticut. This role is ideal for someone early to mid-career who wants broad exposure across accounting, finance operations, and manufacturing and who understands that working at a startup means rolling up your sleeves. You will support day-to-day accounting and financial operations while partnering closely with plant operations, sales, and leadership. This is not a narrow or siloed role. You will see how the business actually runs.
Responsibilities
- Support daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, expense processing, and transaction management
- Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and support month-end and year-end close
- Manage customer invoicing, collections, and aging while resolving discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records for inventory, fixed assets, and cost allocations across manufacturing sites
- Assist with audit and tax documentation and ensure strong internal controls
- Help maintain clean, well-documented audit trails within the ERP system
- Partner with plant operations to ensure accurate inventory, production, and shipment cut-offs
- Support the Controller and CFO with ad hoc financial analysis and projects
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, automation, and system workflows, particularly in NetSuite
Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 2–4 years of relevant accounting or finance experience
- Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- High integrity, sound judgment, and professional skepticism
- Analytical and detail-oriented with the ability to think critically
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial systems
- Experience with NetSuite, manufacturing, or startups is a plus, not a requirement

Work Environment
- You will work closely with operations and leadership and be part of the day-to-day rhythm of a manufacturing environment.
Compensation
- Salary range is approximately $68,000-$78,000, commensurate with experience, plus benefits.
Director of Operations (Deputy to General Manager)
The Director of Operations will serve as the deputy to the General Manager, playing a critical role in ensuring operational excellence. This individual will lead production scheduling, supply chain management, and freight operations, while supporting the General Manager in driving efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and seamless execution across all functions. The Director of Operations will be a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can balance strategic oversight with operational execution.
Responsibilities
- Act as a deputy to the General Manager, supporting overall site leadership and stepping in as needed.
- Lead and manage production scheduling, ensuring alignment with customer demand, capacity, and resource availability.
- Oversee supply chain operations, including vendor relationships, materials management, and inventory optimization.
- Manage freight and logistics, ensuring cost-effective and reliable movement of goods across the network.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, sales, engineering, etc.) to align operational planning with business objectives.
- Drive process improvements and best practices across operations, focusing on efficiency, accuracy, and cost reduction.
- Monitor key operational KPIs and implement corrective actions where needed.
- Provide strong people leadership, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related fieldor equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in operations, with significant leadershipresponsibility.
- Demonstrated success in production scheduling, supply chain management, and freight/logistics.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams and large-scale operations.
- Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-moving environment while maintaining focus onstrategic goals.
